Accessibility
This page explains how Besa Illyrica works with digital and practical accessibility for Besa Festival, and how you can get help or give feedback.
Last updated: 12 August 2026
1. Our goal
Besa Illyrica wants Besa Festival and besafestival.dk to be usable by as many people as possible, regardless of functional ability, assistive technology, screen size or technical experience.
We work according to the principles that content and functions should be perceivable, operable, understandable and robust. Where relevant for e-commerce and ticket purchases, we aim to follow WCAG 2.1 level AA and continue improving towards WCAG 2.2 level AA.
2. Website accessibility
- Navigation can be used with a keyboard on the central pages.
- Text and buttons are written so they can be read and understood without hidden instructions.
- Important images have alternative text when the image communicates information.
- Pages are responsive so they can be used on mobile, tablet and desktop.
- We try to ensure clear contrast, visible focus states and logical heading structure.
3. Known limitations
Some older images, videos, third-party content, payment flows, maps, social media or documents may have accessibility limitations that we do not fully control. If such a function prevents you from buying a ticket, contacting us or getting necessary information, we will help by email or phone.
We review festival content regularly, especially before ticket sales, major programme updates and new merchandise releases.
4. Festival area
We aim to choose and arrange the festival area so that access, toilets, food areas, programme information and audience flow are as accessible as possible within the practical limits of the venue.
If you need a companion arrangement, wheelchair access, calmer entry conditions, allergy information, special dietary information or other practical help, we recommend contacting us before the event so we can plan as well as possible.
5. Tickets, payment and practical help
- If you cannot complete a purchase online, you can contact the organiser for manual help.
- If a ticket code, PDF, email or payment page does not work with your assistive technology, we will help with an alternative solution.
- Practical changes about access, times, venue or safety will be communicated as clearly as possible on the website and through relevant channels.
6. Feedback and response time
Please tell us if you meet a barrier on the website or in festival information. Email Rexhep.aka.reggie@gmail.com or call +45 40 58 25 68 with a short description of the issue, which page it concerns, and which assistive technology or device you use.
We aim to respond within 5 working days and fix significant barriers as quickly as possible, especially if the barrier affects access to tickets, payment, safety information or contact.
7. Basis for this statement
This accessibility page has been prepared as a voluntary public statement for Besa Festival. It is based on an internal review of the website structure, content and central user journeys, as well as current guidance for consumer-facing e-commerce services in Denmark.
